Today was a rather exciting day even though I didn't get up until midday because of the rain keeping me awake all night. We went to a shrine away from the centre of Bangkok and saw people praying and giving offerings.? It was a lot more exciting than it sounds.? We were the only Westerners there so people would come up to us and say random English words that they knew.

Then we went to one of the night markets.? On the metro there I saw my first lot of Buddist monks.? I resisted taking theier photos but will take some soon.? After exhausting ourselves shopping and haggling we had a Thai massage.? It was very nice but quite strange.? Is quite painful at times but felt very relaxed by the end.? I definitely prefer Turkish ones!

Tomorrow I need to make the journey across town and then will be based in the more touristy area.? Not quite decided the best route to take but am sure I'll get there somehow.
