Been  bit lazy and not written for a while.

Am now in Ayutthaya and waiting for my job to start.  Am waiting for my boss to nbe in touch but so far not heard anything.  Am sorting out my appartment and finding my way around town.  I went to a bar last night and met some other teachers so not feeling as alone. 

I might be oing for a Thai massage with a girl I met over the next few days.  I definitely need one after my trip to Chiang Mai.  I went treking on what was meant to be the easy route but I hate to think wht the difficult one is like.  The good parts of the trek were really good but the hard parts were so difficult.  We went on an elephant ride.  I ws on the naughty elephant that wouldn't follow the route and soaked us in dirty water at the very end.  We also went bamboo rafting which was fun and we saw lots of waterfalls and got to swim in 2 of them and use them as a shower.  The walking part was awful mainly because of the heat but also sit as so slippery.  Some parts were very dangerous.  We had to walk on very narow rocky paths that had a sheer drop and walk on logs over rivers.  The worst part was when we had to climb up a cliff like rock climbing with a deep, rocky river below.  I was very glad when it was over.
