Day 1 jaipur: Ione Emma Steph and fee finally arrive after an epic journey with a 8 hour wait in Delhi - where we were stared at by workers as we slept outside mc Donald's and the guy next to Ione kept trying to take sneaky photos of her!. Rag picked us up and drove us to the guest house! Slept for a few hours whilst we waited for Tess and Georgie.

Finally Tess and Georgie arrived! They had a 4 hour delay at Delhi airport - so boring but we finally arrived! Waiting for us were the others on the balcony - no surprise ione was pissing herself at Tess struggle with her MASSIVE bag ... no jokes it's the same size as her. She looks like a turtle - Pictures to follow. Tess was happy to see us but less than impressed when the others all broke the news that the trek we have is going to be 8 hours long!! Her face was a picture.

On arrival all of us were greeted with a flower necklace and a bindi stuck to our forehead (even a bit of rice was on there) !!

The guest house is basic but obviously what we expected. We have bucket showers - a new experience for all and definitely wakes you up in the morning! Our guide is nice except we are a bit worried as every 5 minutes he asks us if we want to move camp and if everything is ok which makes us thing that there is something wrong! And he always thinks we're 'sleepy' !!

There are 20 people in our group. 15 girls and 5 guys. All are nice!!

This evening they put on a 'party' for us in another camp. The journey there was . . . Interesting!!!! Us 6 were in the back of a van and a car was purposely trying to freak us out by driving so fast behind us getting really close then slamming on the breaks!! We also had to avoid cows that are literally in the middle of the road! Once we got to the camp we were put in a room to use wifi- no one knew where we were or what was going on but then we were called for supper.

We had such a good supper - candle lit on the rooftop of the building! Had the nicest veggie curry, rice, chips and chappatis whilst they played bob Marley and a bit of Akon!!

We were then taken back to our camp. Tess has already blocked the loo and it now won't flush!!!

Slightly worried about what we will wear as its so strict with covering up - we plan to go to the market and buy loads of poo catchers ( trousers)!
