Last night in Luang Prabang - I think the staff at my guesthouse are sick of the sight of me! LP has been wonderful, very relaxing - lots of Lao Beers and have even had a Lao massage which was just bliss. The Night market is great, lots of dinky things that you didn't really need to be purchased for next to nothing.

The girls made it here by boat late yesterday from the Gibbon Experience further north so we are off early tomorrow by 'VIP' bus to Vientiane via Vang Vieng where we are stopping off to go tubing - floating down a river in a tyre tube!!! Sunday we'll complete the journey to Vientiane and fly out to Hanoi to start the Vietnam leg of the trip. Luckily Lao Airlines had 2 for 1 special airfares so the flight was a bargin!
