OH.EM.GEEEEE!

So how's it go? - G'day mate..

Ahh that's awkward I know.. but yes I am in Australia! Right now I am 10,540 miles from home! I finally made it to the final stop, before I change my plans and add extra countries in before my flight home! I didn't die, I didn't get sold, I didn't spend all of my money, just 80% of it! It's been a successful 7 weeks I'd say!

Now my next challenge - Customs! So I had done my research beforehand and watched pretty much every episode of border security, I know the tricks to get through here without any questions.. Give me your best shot officer..

Nothing. He took my passport, he smiled, he let me in! Where's the challenge? Well maybe when I get my bag they will wonder what bugs I picked up beforehand.. The queue to actually leave the airport through the next customs went around all the baggage belts so it took about 3 hours for me to leave the airport and no one, that's right, NOBODY spoke to me once! What's more annoying is that they were filming for channel 7 over here that morning!

So I finally leave and then my next challenge was to try an get to my cousins house.. I had vague instructions and did eventually manage to get there about an hour or so later! (The journey normally takes about 30 minutes but I was new so I get a free pass!)

Oh guess what!? I tried sushi! Yes, the only fish I've ever eaten is a fish finger but today I tried sushi.. It was covered in seaweed which really made me want vomit however I thought of happy things and did the deed! Not 100% convinced sushi is for me however, I did try it and seaweed terrifies me so I did good. High fiveeee..

Well Sinead (that's my cousin!) she was off out for the evening so that left me, her friend Hazel, and her housemate Dee. As I was getting tired we just went out for a few drinks and a chat only to end up not getting home until 2:30am after experiencing giant Jenga and connect 4, in a bar. Yeah, that happens out here! You go to a bar, there is Jenga bricks piled as high as you and you play drunk.. Seems to work quite well!

Now I know how you have loved reading about my life now I don't live in a green shirt and even though my life is still very exciting, I know I cannot promise you the thrills you have been getting previously.. So I will update you on my life but it just won't be every day. That is unless something exciting does happen to me everyday then this whole paragraph is just a massive porkie pie!
