Our last morning in Vegas we slept in as much as we could, check out was at 11 and being a Saturday morning there were people everywhere checking in and out. Once we checked out we went to the Monte Carlo all you can eat buffet and it was pretty decent, I'm still not happy that everything is so sweet in the states (no wonder they hate vegimite).
After breakfast we headed to the airport, our taxi driver was probs one of the best taxi drivers we've had all trip and then we were heading to LA!!
We stayed at the Mondrian on Sunset, such a nice place to stay. A little bit snobby in some cases, really who wants to go to the pool in heels! Otherwise everyone as really nice! So our first arvo in LA we went for a walk to see what's around, we didn't get too far as we needed to be back by 5.30ish so we could get ready for dinner. We found this yoghurt place where it's self served and you can mix fruit and lollies like cold rock, this was a good little find especially that we had a late breakfast and no lunch! We also found a little boutique shop so of course we managed to find something to buy :)
We made ourselves a little bit fancy for dinner at STK, very nice steakhouse (high prices but still need to go there), the food was amazing!! Then we went next store to have a cocktail or two before heading back so we could go to the SkyBar at our hotel. This bar has a pretty good view of LA, hopefully the photos turned out good because it really was a good view! We had a bit to drink, as we stayed at the Mondrian we got in for free and could also come and go as we like so we headed back up to our room a few times to smash some drinks (bit of a money saving tip). When we got back down we met some people for Sweden and we ended up hanging out with then till a ridiculous time in the morning! They ordered room service at some silly time in the morning, may have costed them a lot but they didn't seem to care :)
Oh this nice I also jumped into a hole in the wall... There are photos, we thought it was a TV but apparently not, white walls with coloured lights... Who would have thought, so much fun expect for the part where I nearly got stuck hahaha
