Woke to a view of Edinburgh Castle, I dont think you will ever forget when you first see it.

Disembarked from WindSurf for the last time around 8:30am, hopped on a tour bus, did a tour of the new city, then Edinburgh castle itself and surrounds. Dropped off at the hotel around midday and spent the afternoon on the Royal Mile. Bought fudge and mead. Dinner at the hotel.

A walk along Princess street that evening. Its a funny thing about Edinburgh. You can look at a map for months but you dont really appreciate its geography until you see it. How the old and new city are separated with bridges (and Waverley station) between them.

Enjoyed our first day in this beautiful historical city.
