A day at sea.

Not my favourite thing but it is what it is.

Packing, doing surveys, overcast weather, a horizon filled with North Sea Oil rigs. The weather was rough enough that the deck furniture was tied up and it was wise to stay in the bar (or somewhere else inside).

Started reading the girl with the dragon tattoo. Went to the bar at 5:30pm. Had dinner with the other Adelaidiens and the Tassies. A good night.

Sat out the back of the boat later sipping Brandy Alexanders and thinking of Edinburgh. Looking forward to seeing another homeland for the first time.
