Nice sunrise at 6am, watching the boat move towards the Oresund Bridge (which connects Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmo, Sweden).
By 7am we were in port near the little mermaid. Walked to the glyptotek as we had decided that was the one thing in Copenhagen we missed last time and wanted to do the most. Unfortunately it didnt open until 11am, so we had a quiet 30 minutes sitting outside it watching life go by.
The Glyptotek was excellent, plenty of famous statues, the odd Van Gogh, a nice view of Tivoli Gardens from the rooftop, and a beautiful "lunch" of lemon tart, macaron and coffee in the summer garden. An absolute must-see in Copenhagen.
Later we walked over to the Stroget, had our only fast food for the trip at KFC, walked back along the shopping street and Tina bought presents and souvineers while I sat in the Irish pub having a pilsiner and chatting to the staff while using their wifi. Walked back to the boat then went and took photos of the little mermaid.
Dinner on the boat. The boat was empty tonight as many people were doing a night canal cruise and visiting Tivoli.
From now on we have organised excursions planned for each day, Copenhagen, Skagen, Oslo, Kristiansand, a day at sea then onwards to Edinburgh. Bar one day we had skipped organised trips and done our own thing so far, now we will relax and let others plan the days.
