Well hello people, it has been a while since we have done a Journal so here it is. Since the last time we wrote one, we have been to so many places, Colva, Panajim, Candolim, Paloloem, Baga, Anjuna, Calangute 'Baga is a horrible hole full of tourists, we have to say, more like the Costa Del sol' anyway, I'll continue, Karwar, Karnattica and then we finally got out of Goa after 8 weeks there, it really is a difficult place to get out of to be honest. Now we are in Kerela, we did plan to leave a week ago, in fact we even got on the train 'the local train' only to be gropped and gleared out so we got of th the next stop which is Karwar, in Karnuttaka! "well that was an experience", we didn't know where the blinking hell we were or where to go, but we surrvived it and went back to Palolem the next morning where a lovely guy called Martin helped us out.
We braved the train again this time going 3AC which was a complete different experience, alltogehter and even clean sheets were provided. I couldn't sleep very well to but spudders did okay. ZZZzz. I finally did get to sleep only to awake at our stop, which is where we are now in Fort Cochin. We are having a great time here as in Palolem, we camped at a beach called butterfly all night with a guy called Jullian we met, which was an amazing experience, we built our own fire and and cooked our own food, 'it was like a scence from the film the beach' we surrvived and i have the mosquito marks on my foot to prove it. Currently spud has found a mate called Ted, they are havng a beer in a local bar, whilst muggins here does the typing ha ha! all good as i am now allowed to purchase along awaited Sari 'yaaaaaa'... Yesterday we did a tour on a house boat, at Cochin and saw all the backwaters which was truely amazing, we visited a local town and ate of bananna leaves 'who ever needs plates again?' and then we were asked to star in a bollywood movie called 'big b' so look out for it we may just be in it, we went again today but it a 11.00am thing until 10.00pm 'to bloody hot' so we left and came to the internet instead?? hummmm doesn't sound that right but if you were here you would understand. Later yesterday evening we took a local Farrari 'tuk-tuk' to the Shiva Elephant Festival which I have to say is possibly one of the most amazing things i have ever scene. We have a little video of it although a little shakey to be fare.
Anyway just a quick one as I am of to join those bar boys for a drink also, and enjoy the sites. So far we have to say that our favorite places have been Aranbol, Paloloem, Panajim, and Due to Paul and Jean coming out Candolim, we have so much enjoyed the whole trip and are buzzing now as we have hit real India, a massive change and at times quite tough but all in all we are having a good time. Thanks to all the people we have meet for making it so special and also thanks to you guys for looking on the site and leaving us e-mails/messages it really cheers us up hearing from home and all our friends so keep the e-mails coming as we love to get them.
We hope that you are all okay, and missing us as much as we miss you 'because we do' and look forward to seeing you soon. Our next stop is Munnar which is the Tea Plantations and Hills , only a four hour bus ride which if your lucky, you don't get bruised or die of heat conjestion, but it was nothing compeared to a 15 hour train journey let us tell you, all fantatastic experiences though and loving everyminute. We miss you all lots. xx
anyway that's it, keep looking and were keep downloading. Currently the saying of the week is 'full power no shower' or 'no power, no shower' ...... tei and spud xxx
