Well this is our last few hours in New Zealand, after which we will be flying to America to meet up with columbo who finally got round to booking our hostel last night!!!!! Cutting it a bit fine but its okay because his mum brandished blunt weapons at him. We are hoping to hire a car to drive around California in (money permitting) and then head over to the east coast after doing all of the touristy stuff. Hello everyone, we are currently in Auckland after meeting up with becci and non a few days ago. We got the ferry from Picton to Wellington and the crossing was good, we saw lots and lots of dolphins all jumping out of the water infront of the boat and it was a really cool thing to see. Ok, we haven't been too good at updating this and now we have an issue of remembering everything that we have done. We left Wanaka after spending a lovely night in a little cottage that we got for the same price as a dorm bed due to a toilet issue so we had a little kitchen and a bathroom and a sitting room with tv etc.We left Wanaka at 9:30am in search of Hokitika via the Haast Pass. Hello everybody, since we last wrote we haven't really done all that much. We spent a really lovely 4 nights with Marianne, Jon and Hamilton and I found it quite hard to leave and got a little emotional, ah well.Yesterday we picked up our rental car which is a little Dihatsu Sirion and its awesome.
