Hello all,
This entry is brought to you from Mike's brain, via Lou's approval - Cambridge New Zealand. We are still in residence at the Worth household. We are many meals and tons of tasks in.
I have officially driven a tractor before I have driven a car (I even managed to reverse park it, though I was going about -2 miles an hour). Other tasks we have accomplished include picking pumpkins and various types of squash, weeding and yes that is me shovelling up cow-pats. All I can say is that it's one hell of a workout.
* The picture summing up this blog will commence our caption competition. Competition entries in the comments please.
Burton has helped us secure our next Wwoofing destination. We are going to stay with a friend of his with a smallholding. After that we have a free week, before going to stay with Barbara and her Bees.
Lou and I got our first taste of fishing down by the damn. Our vegetarian following will be happy to know that we did not catch anything. However we had a lot of fun and may try again next week.
Severe weather warning. This saturday we may have a formidible gale (not to be confused with an Incorrigible Gail). If the is the case the day will be spent watching dvds and making my version of the Wortley Curry.
That about brings us up to date. In fact it actually puts us between 2 days and 2 weeks into the future. Stay tuned for further announcements.
