Hello!
Had a pretty early start this morning and headed down through the highs and lows of the Sydney bus system to the central city...
After asking nearly everyone we came across for directions to the visitor centre we eventually turned up and paid $60 for entry for four attractions, which, bought separately, would have cost way of $100... so happy days!
Headed over, or up to, the Sydney sky tower and although it was relatively overcast we had a pretty awesome view of the city so got a better idea of where we were. Next stop was the Sydney Aquarium which provided a good job of successfully re-installing our fear of sharks, especially combining that with our conversation about sharks with the lifeguard yesterday... Great...
We then hit up some lunch... And some German tossers and moved onto the wildlife park and saw some pretty terrifying spiders and snakes... Kinda making me miss the safety of dorset... I mean, a pigeon is about as extreme as it gets there!
We spent the following couple of hours trying to find the opera house which was right on the other side of the city! So after hiking across sydney, taking shed loads of photos, watching some awesome bands on the streets and watching a fire juggler we arrived and had our turn of typical tourist photo taking...
Heading back home we decided to give the bus a miss and take the ferry to Manly which gave us a tour of the harbour which was cool. Manly is a sound place - great beach and great bars as we learnt briefly yesterday...
Chilled out this evening watching some football and cooking pasta and meeting New people.
Hope all is well with you folk.
Love peace and shark fin soup.

Mum Loved the photo from the tail of the plane... Watch out for the tiny 'red back' and the big hairy 'funnel web' spiders... as deadly. Have you seen any Abos playing the didgeridoo?! Lots of love xx
Dad Glad you managed to see the sights of Sydney and hope the overnight journey to Byron Bay wasn't too awful! Hope its getting warmer now. Love Dad x
