I got up bright and early (9.30ish) to have some free pancakes at the hostel...unfortunately the male guests had the same idea and I missed out on them again! I attempted to start packing my bag as I knew I would be leaving the morning after and did not want to leave my packing so late! Organised huh?! I then went sightseeing around the strip, took lots more photos, checked out the watershows and Caesars Palace shows. Went back to the same casino for my $3 coron...

My first full day in Vegas started about 11ish, by the time I actually got out of bed and ready it was midday. Turns out hangovers in the baking heat make a hangover about 20x worse! So I got the bus straight to Mandalay Bay and headed for Shark Reef Aquarium. The creatures were out of this world and I kept having thoughts that the glass was gonna break everytime I went through a tunnel, and had lots of thoughts about Jaws! I left San Francisco at 11pm on Wednesday 13th to catch my greyhound to Las Vegas. I was really excited about moving on to my next destination. Unfortunately the greyhound had other ideas about when I would get there. We had a stopover at Coalinga (a personal favourite of mine on the greyhound!) which I couldn't keep my eyes open for, then transferred at Los Angeles at 7am. Was told to wait till 8am for the next bus, so gets to 7:50am and the queue is out the doo...

Today was check out day in San Fran, so got up early to store my luggage for the day. I then got the street car to Pier 33 for my Alcatraz and Angel Island Tour. It took about 50 mins to get to Angel Island by ferry then as soon as I got there, we went on a tram tour of the whole island which lasted 45 minutes. It was pretty interesting and I found it slightly random that there were people that actually lived on the island, it was very vast and remote in places....

So, Tuesday morning I woke up early to get on the street car to Fishermans Wharf to collect my hired bike. I biked from San Francisco pier over Golden Gate Bridge and over to a little fishing town called Sausalito. The bike ride was 8 miles in total, but was amazing, so relaxing to ride a bike which I havent done in years! However I was aching slightly when I got off it. Went to a little deli in Sausalito for lunch where I had a California Club baguette...hands ...
