Well, nearly one week has passed. I have done so much, yet so little. Last week, I mostly did the more routine things-go to town to run errands, hang out, etc. Saturday night, I went out with Fred and his friend Christian to a beer garden. It was a nice night out to sit and talk. Although due to the recent smoking ban inside restaurants, bars, and the like, about every single person was smoking. Sunday, I went to Baden Baden with Fred and his family. While Fred and his dad Hans Peter worked, Monika and I went on a nice walk. We eventually made our way to the abbey and bought some homemade jam made by the nuns. Peter works as the director of the nursing home so he later was able to let me explore the kitchen with a tour by the person in charge of the kitchen which was interesting for me.  Later that evening, we all had dinner at their Italians friend's place.  I got to have HOMEMADE Italian pizza-so good, salad and homemade tiramisu-the best ever.  Today, I went to Heidelberg which was amazing. It is such a lovely town. Although, I have to say I am very impressed with how beatiful this whole region is.
