The weather was still overcast and rainy. We had a huge breakfast with omelettes! We chilled and read our books. I had a big burger for lunch. In the evening they did a Kava ceremony where we all sat on a matt in a circle. We had to clap once, say 'Bula' to the group. They said 'Bula' back and clapped three times. This older local guy handed you a coconut cup with the drink in and you drank all of it then clapped three times. The drink tasted like dirty water to me, but Garth said it made his tounge a bit numb!
The sunset that night was phenomenal!!
We enjoyed dinner with a family from Suffolk and with a NZ guy who sails yachts to owners when they purchase them. He has some fascinating stories of storms and navigation!
They had a disco in the evening but Garth wasn't enjoying it do we went to bed early :(
