To all,
We have now left Melbourne and arrived in Sydney last Thursday.
On the way we stayed in the Capital Canberra which was very quiet suprisingly but also very nice. Been the typical tourist i dragged Em across the bridge to see the Parliament buildings and Government house. A long way, my own fault really as on the way there i got stung by a wasp! In reality you have more chance of dying from a sting from a bee or wasp than that of been attacked by a shark! Been me i was totally stressing out so it was a very quick visit to the house and then back to the chemist. As you can see i am still alive writing this blog so panic over!
We then left the capital and headed onto Sydney by the Greyhound bus. We are staying in Maroubra Beach with ems cousins Michelle and her fellow Darren. Its soooooooooooooo nice to be in a house and not a hostel we are quickly getting too used to it! We have walked across to Coogee Bay to lie on the beach and also meet my friend Sally from York so weird but didnt feel like we were across the other side of the world! Then Sat night wow it was the 30th anniversary of the Sydney Mardi Gras so we went along to watch it, i have never seen so many people in one place it was truly an unforgettable experience, we then carried onto a house party at a friends of Michelle's which was fancy dress. Overall a great night.
Today we were quite lazy and had a sleep in then made it across to Darling Harbour to the aquarium and had a fish and chip tea at a restaurant along the marine. Sweet!
Our plans now are to stay in Sydney for maybe another two weeks visiting Bondi, more of the city, palm beach etc then move onto Brisbane and further up the east coast as far as we can get weather permitting.
Hope you are all ok and not missing me too much ha! Write again soon.
Love Sarah and Emma Xx
