To all,

As this is both mine and Emmas blog but only i update it i will now put we instead of i as we are doing exactly the same things as we are pratically not out of each others sights for any part of the day apart from obvious toilet breaks!

We are now in the city after having some lovely experiences between our time here and Apollo Bay. On our way back from Apollo Bay we visited the 12 apostles breathtaking then headed back to St Kilda after a long drive.

The next day we had a bit of a lie in then headed to Philiip Island where we got more than we bargained for. We visited a rescue park were we saw koalas, wallabies, tazmanian devils, more crocs and a wombat. The we travelled further a field after tea to watch the penguin parade. We sat until the sky went dark and watched the penguins in there little groups, hundreds of them returning back from days of feeding to make their way back to land and to their babies in their nests it was truly like a planet earth programme. We then walked on the board walks and was really close to them it was one of the highlights of Oz so far and i know i keep saying this but it was again! Dont worry tho it was all safe and no harm what so ever can come to the penguins i loved it.

Today we have been to a backpackers event and then went onto a food and drink festival again i was in my element and loved that too but not as much as the penguins! Ha! On the way we saw a chinese wedding taking place in the park, all guests were dressed in black not sure why? If you know send me an email. There were also lots of live bands around too it really is a buzzing, nice city to be in and very friendly to tourists.

We are now in a new hostel and life is hard been a backpacker, the free food shelf is always the first thing we check out a bonus if you find tomato ketchup and even better chocolate! Haven't found any yet! And i am already sick of all my clothes in my back pack but thats all part of the experience i guess!
