This morning we sailed into a bay towards an island called Polače.
We anchored out in the water for a swim stop then once we were done one of the crew from the boat took us in the boats irb across to the island as it didn't have somewhere to dock. Once we were all on the island we bought our tickets to catch the buses to the Mljet national park on the island where we'd spend the afternoon.

We first caught a water boat to an island in the national park that had an old Benedictine monastery on it.we walked around the island and went for a swim before meeting back to catch the water boat to another area in the national park where we could hire canoes and kayaks.

I went halves in a hiring a canoe with Chris a guy on my tour and we paddled around and under a bridge to another open lake where there was a little beach. After an hour of canoeing around the beautiful national park we returned the canoes and we all made our way back to catch the bus back to the main part of the island.

Once we were back there we ducked into the small grocery store,the island was so small and not many people lived there but it made it nice to visit as there were no tourists and it was relativity untouched.

We caught the irb back to the ship and had another swim before getting ready for our trash bag party that night.

I was thoroughly loving being a beach bum again,being in the sun,my shower consisting of a swim in the ocean and a rinse off with cold water and having salty hair. There were cicadas buzzing all over the island that I could hear from the boat and the smell of smoke,it just reminded me of being down at my van in summer I was feeling so relaxed.

After a swim,I got dressed and started to make my trash bag out fit.
So the idea is we get given black,red,blue and yellow garbage bags and we have to cut,stick and create them into something to do with doctors and nurses as that was our theme.

I made a black nurses outfit with a collar and a little black nurses hat/headband with a red cross on it,then I made a blue mouth mask.
There were some funny and clever ideas,including drips,needles,being a new born baby.

Once our outfits were complete we had dinner then got our party on.
We had a fun night let the alcohol flow the music pump,before heading to bed.
