The day of dropping off the van has arrived, woop woop.
Although its been good, im glad its time to hand it back. Its cosy but there is only so much confined in a small space that can take place.
The sat nav took us all over the city, twice - maybe three times, before it took us to the correct place eventually.
travelling light because we had already unloaded was the best idea we had all holiday, leaving the drop off point we had to get a bus for 25 mins into the city and the bus was over full. Wouldnt have been much fun with all the baggage.
We wondered the city a little when we got there, christmas eve seems to be the same as in England, everyone is out getting all the things they have forgotten, some im sure only just startingt heir shopping. As it was so busy we didnt stay in the city centre too long, we'll go back when its not so bustling.
Sydney has a look out tower so we went up to see and the views were amazing, it was such a clear day that you could see for miles all round the area. Photos to follow.
A lovely evening spent with the family, good food, good wine and good company. Followed by bed
