There wasnt alot to see in at the port, and not alot to see all the way to newcastle.
Arriving late in the evening at Newcastle and there wasn't any campsites to be seen. there was a car park on the edge of the beach that didnt contain any no camping signs so we parked up for the evening and used the park bbq to have a feast of sausages and steak with rice.
We walked up the beach to the light house and back again, lots of darkness and sea crashing about us from both sides. We did alot of driving today so quite tired.
630 am came round and i was wide awake and mr tim was counting the zzzz'ds, i decided to go for a walk / run on the beach and a little bit of a paddle. Still waiting for Mr Tim to get his eyes open i spent a peaceful few hours sat on the beach with a book.
Later in the morning we ventured in to town for a little shopping and site seeing before getting in to the sea. The sea was very rough, i was standing on the edge with the tide lapping round me knees one min and then the waves were crashing on my shoulders the next min. @@It was great though and warm too.
As we were so close to Sydney we decided to travel back to Frank and Sandras early to unpack the van and get ready to take it back on Friday.
When arriving back in Sydney the house was filling up fast with friends, neighbours and relatives fast. We had a nice evening meal of salmon followed by lamb, a few glasses of wine before retiring for the night.
