Day 2 found us on our way to Juneau where we got of the ship and had a walk round it was a gold mining town and was founded in1880 now the economy is based on government tourism mining and fishing. There are a abundance of jewelry shops which I was checking out for pink diamonds to go with the ring John had made for our anniversary they could not say where the diamonds were from so we did not buy any we looked at a few watches but we had bought watches the night before on the ship I got a lovely Tag heur and John bought hisself a faberge watch which is beautiful. We went up the mountain in a cable car and had a walk around at the top the weather was cold and the wind had a chill factor in it we boarded the ship and johns camera was not working properly I did not take mine so did not get many photos of the town.
