Notes from the road: a fiercely desirable journey down the roads more or less traveled…or not?

Ive long had a motto, or more a personal philosophy of sorts, that if you can find at least one thing every day to smile about then that one thing can truly turn what you feel is a bad day into the best day. It seems that the last few weeks I have forgotten about this philosophy for reasons I wont get into here. But, I was recently reminded of it, unbeknownst to her, by a good friend and close personal relative of mine. She told me something I taught her long ago. You actually can do or be anything you want in life. You just have to do it. Get over the judgments people pass on you , get over the guilt that it may causeand just do what makes you happy. That is what I came out here for in the fist place. She also passed on some new word of wisdom from her own personal philosophy that I will surly strive to remember. Sometimes its just too hard to make the world a better place. What is more important sometimes is to just try and make your world a better place. That is what I will try to focus on for now, making my world a better place, one day at a time. It was after I finished reading those words that I began to remember my forgotten philosophy about smiling at something everyday. Its not hard to find one thing in your world that has so much beauty it just brings a smile to your face. It truly makes a difference in my world and I recommend you try it in yours if you are having trouble staying positive. Which is something that plagues all of us from time to time and there is no need to be ashamed of it. Life rolls on anyways. May as well enjoy it while it keeps going, it wont be around forever. Ill keep smiling everyday and I hope you will too. Forever young and yours truly, kelly

i find solitude by wandering

every lonely country mile

ive got solitude all around

their aint nothing wrong

with a little love in all our hearts

and happiness and solitude

aint never done no harm

though all my friends have scattered
