This morning we spent 2-3 hours driving by minibus to the Krabi province where our tour ends. We arrived at our little bungalows around lunchtime and couldn't wait to wander down to the beach! We got up early this morning (6am) to load the kayaks with tea and coffee and paddle again around the island. We arrived in Surat Thani about 6am and walked to a little cafe nearby for breakfast. We then took a 2 hour songthaew ride to the boat stop, where we transferred onto a little wooden motor boat to cross the most idyllic lake to our rafthouses. Today was a free day before we boarded another sleeper train for Surat Thani in the evening, so we had a lazy morning shopping and getting Liv's hair braided! We had a really nice relaxed morning, spoiled a little by Hannah having her shopping bag stolen as we tried on some shorts.
