I never want to see desert landscape again. Ever. After ten hours of STRAIGHT desert driving (and some pretty shady looking small towns with a lot of dentistry issues) we reached VEGAS!!! Idaho - possibly the most beautiful drive I have ever done. We got off the highway and took some back road that turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. It was just beautiful. Two and a half hours of unbelievable scenery. I think I spent more time with my head hanging out the window or out the sunroof than I did in the actual car!!!
