9th June 151km Travelled to Royan and decided to find out ferry times to cross Bordeux estuary which will save us some serious travelling time.Decided to catch the 11am ferry tomorrow when hopefully the weather would improve.Looked very choppy and vomitus even with a handful of Quells.Had lunch in a Port side restaurant. 8th June257 km Jard sur mer aires view of the sea.Met our first British people.They were Irish and in their 60's driving around in a huge camper en route to Portugal.Very friendly and they watched the van for us while we walked to the marina for a beer.Very nice seaside town with a very pretty disused windmill.Lots of lovely 'Gin Palaces'.Beer was good. 5th/6th June Travelled 386km to Carnac South Brittany and to a campsite called Les Druides.The region is famous for its Megaliths which are dotted across the area. 4th June Having spent the night just outside Dover we caught the ferry at 9.15 am with all 3 passports in order.
