Hello from Greece. Caught the ferry from Brindisi to Patras a 16 hour trip. We parked the van on the "open" deck and this enabled us to stay in the van if we wanted. So after dinner we went for a walk round the ship and then slept. It was very windy and wet so we were glad of the shelter. Shared the ship with about 100 Harley bikers, on their way to a raly here in Patras. They reckon there will be about 5,000 bikers here for the week. Already the town has special areas marked off for them. Peter was hoping they would be BMW riders so as he had an excuse to talk to them.

We loved Sicily. The people are friendly and helpful and they make the best coffee and grow the best & cheapest fruit & vegies. The southern & eastern sides of the island are clean and much nicer than the north.
