Hello All!
So the flight to Danang was 1hr 15 mina, sooooo worth the £40 Paid for it!
We got a taxi to our hotel in Hoi An for about 5$ each. Hotel is nice, it's quite big & offers a free shuttle bus to the old town where all the markets & tailors are. Once we all checked in Sam & I went to check out the pool & bumped into Tim & Laura from the bus to Mui Ne! They joined the 4 of us a the beach the following day & we all went out for dinner that night (another curry....preparing ourselves for India I think)
We went to have a look at the old town & you are literally shouted at "you buy something lady" like your being told to buy something! It's crazy as it's very shop you walk past so you just end up saying "no thank you, no thank you" all the way down the roads, it's relentless.
Yesterday & today is pissing it down :( so we've just been watching films in the hotel room.. I went for a massage & pedicure yesterday which was nice :)
Good job we've got a flight to Hanoi booked for this evening (£37 Bargain!)
Going to spend a few days in Hanoi then do a boat trip to Halong bay then off to Laos!
Decided to spend Christmas day In Chaing Mai as we're moving along quite quickly so expect to be in Thailand by then.
Found out the best way to get from Hanoi to Luang Prabang is to fly & the cost is £100 all year round... Little bit gutted about that as otherwise its a long bus trip & a border crossing, apparently there are quite a few bus changes involved as well so don't fancy that much!
