God is American ... don't you forget it.
hello from switzerland. were in luzern, a pretty town with a lake and a mountian near by. presently were in a mcdonalds because they offer the cheapest internet. about an hour ago i bought a genuine swiss army knife. it is white instead of red as i already have a red one but also it is special because they only sell white ones in switzerland...no other country. so im excited about that. im not too exctited that it is jess's last day, she leaves tomorrow for florence and i head to interlaken where i will be staying for one night until i go to lauterbrunnen for three days...i cant wait until the alps, its gonna be great. visiting all hese european cities was great but after a while concrete is concrete...im ready for some fresh air and some serious hiking. after lauterbrunnen im not sure where ill be going.
before switzerland was brugge and brussels. both cities were very pretty and very clean. in brussels we stayed at a great place near the grand place, the main tourist attraction. it was beautiful. we had genuine belgium chocolate and waffles, both lived up to their reputation. tonite for jess's last night were going to a nice restaurant on the river here in luzern. tomorrow we both head out early for different places as i stated above. not too much longer here in europe, today marks the two week mark. im going to try and make the best of it. i want to go white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, biking and of course, a lot of lounging on the beach somewhere. ill see how much i can get done.
when i get back the boys and i are going camping in the adirondacks and i cant wait for it. it will be the last hoorah before ryan is off to scotland for a whole damn year. oh well, it gives me a reason to go to scotland.
ok, gotta run. dad, im sorry i cant get you belgium chocolates, they'd never last in this heat. if there's something non perishable you'd like, let me know. byeee
