We slept in today till 9am that was nice had a good breakfast and we were off to see the Almere shopping zone to start. Tara bought a bead for her pandora bracket a cute tulip and also a scarf or neck thingy, and me a holland football team jersey of number 10 Sneijder it will be shipped to me at a later time. We then went and said hi to Shama at her school and meet the class of 8yr olds.
We then took the train and left for Amerstdam along with Menno our tour guide. It's hard to explain all the things you see ,everything is old and detailed and very different than what we see back home. Glad to say that other than a few close calls we never were hit by an scooters or bikes or cars and believe me that's impressive. We toured the shopping side this time where most of the beautiful girls of holland shop as Menno says, he was right! There were also plenty of other interesting sights,Tara shopped a bit more I'm sure she could have spent a lot of money and she didn't have enough time either. We had a great dinner together on the main drag, Italian Tara had salmon pasta, me the spare ribs and Menno a pizza. With our bellies full we made our way to the Anne Frank house. This was something to be remembered we were not aloud to take pictures at all. But things like this you never forget there was lots of info and pictures and short videos we got to see where she lived in hiding and it was fairly small but larger than I thought. They had lots of items and neat things to see as well. We purchased the diary and also some post cards of the house and area surrounding. We then headed back towards Amsterdam Central of course via the red light district.
