We thought the rivalry between Edmonton and Calgary was bad well in holland, Amsterdam and Rotterdam is worse so bad that they don't even want to say the name they call each other by area code so today we went to 010 aka Rotterdam. We went to the Euro Mast a 185m tall structure in the shape of a ships mast we had lunch at 100m. I had a burger Tara soup and sandwich it was different in the fact that most people eat a burger in a nice restaurant with a knife an fork the patty alone was at least 2" thick. Lunch was great we the went all the way to the top in a revolving glass elevator what a view of the harbor. We then went down walk around and did a tour off the large harbor by boat. After that we had a real coffee at hotel new York a fancy cafe. Fully charged in coffee we made Aston at my cousins garden since they don't have much a yard they rent a space close to home with a neighbor 120 square meters it puts my garden to shame :( they have all sorts of veggies and are having great success very impressive there were lots of others as well. They have a good long growing season here. We then headed for dinner with jolanta Robert and Nina&stan to a Greek restaurant, wow dinner was amazing the best Greek food I've had and the biggest portions ever. Tara got a present from the manager a small bottle of wine a nice gesture we finished with the kids favorite gelato spot Tara was in gelato paradise and we haven't even made it to Italy. We made it back to Menno in time for the holland match with Portugal the out come wasn't so good. But was lots of fun Menno and Shama have some crazy friends... When in holland do as the Dutch do and you'll be ok. if you want more o the story you'll have to ask us ;)

Dad Poor old Holland, never seem to get far in the major competitions. Pitty. England on the other hand are surprising everybody and have made it to the next round. Keep your blogs coming, very interesting.
Adeline So...better today we not go for a burger! Maybe poffertjes? I know your Dad always made them for sunday-brunch! See you in two hours, looking forward! Adeline/Peter
Neil Ooh poffertjes, Paul always made them so good. Can I come please Adeline?
