Today we had some train problems in getting out to Deventer. The train we were waiting for was struck by lighting and never showed up so we had to travel to Amsterdam central then from there back out to deventer with a a few transfers . It took an extra hour but we made it. My uncle peter and aunt puck were waiting for us with there two dogs. They took us on a very interesting tour of the old town showing us all the important sights. There house is one of the oldest in town from the 14th century very impressive they live right around the corner from the main square with access to everything you can imagine. We had a very nice lunch Tara had a salad which she enjoyed I had a smoked salmon sandwich with a dill sauce which was also very good. The tour continued as we made our way back to there home for coffee and tea the visit was nice good to here everyone is well. We took the train back with little trouble and enjoyed a relaxing time watching a movie to end the day with Menno and Shama.
