Today was our last day in Holland :( we packed our bags and had our last breakfast at Menno's place thanks for the hospitality we had a great time. Tara's been a trooper with packing and living out of a back pack know if she can just remember to pack everything England she forgot her all important not for kids novel. And know in holland she left her money at Menno's place lol. Anyways.... We drove out to Gouda today the cheese capital of the world. We meet up with my auntie Adeline and uncle Peter. Adeline took us into the market square we had an unbelievable lunch, the food has just been incredible so far. We then took a tour of the most amazing church I have ever seen from the 16th century it has survived many battles fires and even lighting. Walking around I felt so small this place was huge. There were stained glass windows all around it an the pictures were so detailed and ornate it was hard to believe that everything was hand made the woodwork was all original and was just amazing all hand carved. Walking on the floor we were over top people graves and there carvings in the stone of who they were all dated as early as 1602. Truly amazing! Then to my surprise Adeline showed me a house in the square were one of one great great grand father owned where he made clothes and suits he also lived there. I was blown away it is now a pizza parlor. We also saw where they weigh all the cheese with the big scales and of course they had samples. I had some aged Gouda that was three an half yrs old wow I can still taste it now. We went back to Adeline house and had coffee and I caught up with my uncle and listened carefully to all the good things he's doing with the foundation in Bali and all around Europe. Thank you for all the great memory's Tara and I had a terrific stay in holland and we can't wait to come back. Now off to Nice in the south o France I knew I packed my shorts for something :)

adeline Dont worry, i will bring Tara's money next week to Sherwood Park! It was great to have you for a few hours. Next time you have to stay longer, for the big flea-market, cheese-farm , Scheveningen eating "haring"and many more. Hug.
