The heat is defiantly starting to kick our asses its completely different than sitting in a beach or being in Mexico. We had a great conversation about the the things were sick and tired of and also the things we miss. The amount of people here in florence is stupid theres lines for everything we want to see and people bumping into and blowing smoke everywhere. I think everyone smokes in Europe. Anyways we tried to get in a see the statue of David but the line was around the corner than we went to the duomo another church with some nice look outs but both lines were crazy long and we didn't have the proper clothes with us. Then we went across the gold bridge which was nice minus all the tour guides and people. We made our way to the Pitti Palace and gardens which we payed for and got in but maybe our expectation were to high. When they say gardens i right away think flowers and vegetables. Well this place was just huge and they soaked us for 20€ and there was nothing to see at all just a lot of walking up hill and over grown shrubs and clover fields the place was run down and a huge disappointment. By now I was completely beat by the heat and we walked back to the hotel to rest up before going for dinner. Cold shower 1/2 hour nap with ac on full blast we ventured out again all the way back to the duomo but it was now closed, balls. Had dinner at a nice restaurant but we both agreed the food so far in Italy other than the steak has been just ok nothing like all the other places we've been on the trip, maybe its the heat. Now back at air conditioned 12 by 12 hotel room. At least we have a plan for tomorrow. This was probably the worst day of our trip but it made all the others that much better you Win some you loss some.
