Hello again. Back in Thailand after Laos. We took 2 consecutive overnight trains from Laos and I am now in Phuket! Its beautiful and Im really glad i have decided to do the south islands. The train journey to Bangkok was not to bad but the one from Bangkok to Phuket was Hell! They didn't have any beds left on the sleeper train, only seats. In the past I have had a bed but to be honest your on a noisy,rickerty train so you don't tend to sleep much anyway,but this was something else. It was crammed with boddies and i was sat next to an old man that looked as if he was about to take his last breaths. At first i was thinking how sad and that it happens to us all but that changed when he started speaking in his sleep and reaching out at me. It was a major distraction as i was really trying to sleep after the previous night on the sleeper or non sleeper train as it should be called. Just as i was dropping off I felt something on my crotch! He was pating me!!!On The crotch! That was it.... I was over with Ellen and Elisa on the floor with about 1000000000 mozzies,flies and various other bugs. I had no sleep at all...again. So what better way to get over that than the beach. The water is the warmest and clearest i have ever seen and the sand feels like snow to walk on....Its amazing! In the next few days we are heading for Ko PhiPhi "The Beach" was filmed here. Get it out on vid if you can. Its kind of what thailand is like but exagerated of course. Just out for some dinner and a few drinks so will report again soon with some overdue pics (I ate Bugs!) It took hours and hurt like hell but after a visit to Toni & Guy Bangkok and with thanks to the Transexual called "Earth" that cut it...the fried ends are gone and it only cost me 8quid!
