Not very much to write about again today unfortunately :( It will probably be like this until we leave Eugene on Sunday!
We went for some nice walks though! We walked from the university campus area to Stadium Park Apartments which is where Matt used to live! It's sooo nice and shiney. There's a nice pool and beach volleyball thing etc! We went to the little shop there and bought a huge ice tea for just 99c. We were also lucky enough to go inside a model apartment so I could see the exact lay out of the apartments. They are so fancy for such a small amount!
After we did a bit of shopping :) I bought my Ducks top for football game this weekend as well as some face stickers! I'm super excited for it :D
We also went and got some food and I felt soooo sick after. We went to a fast food place and I got fries because they had VINEGAR there!!! So, for those who know me, I actually more had vinegar with some fries, rather thant the other way round. A weird thing about the place we were at is that they were giving away free peanuts (in their shells!).
The biggest thing I have learnt so far about travelling is how amazing New Zealand is. Seriously, if I ever hear anyone moan about New Zealand again I'm just going to throw them off a bridge. We are SO lucky. The country is in such better condition than most of the world and we are so blessed to be surrounded by so much beauty and lovely, lovely people. I am really enjoying travelling because I'm learning things I'd never really get from a textbook, but I also miss little Dunedin so much!
I have also learnt that I hate heat. I could NOT live in a really hot country. Anything over 23c and I just start feeling sick and dizzy and don't want to eat! Somewhat dreading coming home via Dubai, Bangkok and Sydney now since it'll be hoooooooooooooooooooot!
Tonight we are going to a bar quiz night thing! So hopefully that'll be fun and I will get to meet even more people :) Sorry about the vagueness and boringness at the moment. I am just living life as a normal Eugene resident to be honest so nothing crazy and touristy that most people would be interested in!
Oh yeah I think I forgot to mention yesterday that we went to this really yummy doughnut place called Voodoo Doughnuts yesterday! They do doughnuts of every kind, including ones covered in broken up oreos! Nan and Grandad you would be proud of me!! :) We bought a box of 12 and they're hugeee! Definitely something those coming to Eugene or Portland should try.

Nan Ooo doughnuts, no calories in them lol. I know what you mean about heat I am just the same I like spring heat rather than summer. It sounds as though you are having a chilled time which is just what you both need after your hectic time in Fiji LA and Las Vegas. Make the most of it. Glad you are learning to appreciate your own country it will make going back all the sweeter. Love you xxxxxxxNan
