Ahhh hello again!

Well talk about being a non stop tour, I feel like ive been travelling for days, I know my feet and certainly my shoulders do! For the past 3 days have been in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Really I just wanted to go to say I'd actually been there, but I think Gemma had a genuine intrest bless her!

As it was a kind of a spirit of the moment trip we packed our bags, left the hostel in Singapore and headed for the bus station to hopefully find there would be a bus going to Malaysia....hmmm first finding the bus station, tricky! Got off at a place called Lavender and saw signs to the train station so gathered we could get a tarin. Well it looked like something out of a horror movie! It was desolate which is completely unlike Singapore, there was a tramp on one side, thought maybe id be able to blend in with him if we had to stay! Luckily there wasnt a train til 10p.m and as it was only 1.15 we thought it was a good idea to go catch the bus, wherever the station was. Three subway rides laters, melting from the heat and looking like wed been travelling for weeks non stop we found the station, fanatastic got a ticket and the coach was luxurious!!!! 7 hours later and we were in Kuala Lumpur. The next three days passed in a whizz, sadly it was monsoon season so for a couple of hours a day we were literally trapped in our room as it was the only outside room where youd have to get soaking wet to get to the main part of the hostel. But we could live with that...it was the karaoke whch was difficult to live with. Till 2a.m every night there were people getting up tp sing (well i say sing, wail more like) Cos we were on an outside block that meant open windows so we couldnt even shut the din out, never thee mind it was a great three days, plenty to see and do! Bit like Singapore, with everything really Americanised, so it was being a little like in mini America. Headed up the tallest towers in the world and saw the great view, and also headed to the other sightseeing must doos. Got back to singapore last night and found out we could only stay 14 more days, which was unexpected as we expected another 17 on top of that! So today have been busy sorting out flights to head to Austrailia two weeks early, but I think we can cope with that!  :  )
Staying in this hostel for the next week and that backpack is going no where near my shoulders in that time!!!!
