Hey one and all! Well we made it, actually made it without getting lost! Well that was once we had made it through immigration..three times it took to fill in one of those disembarkation forms, once in Japanese which i was very impressed about! Anyway upon leaving the airport we got our very handy rail passes and hopped onto the good old train and underground system, very easy to use (I've had lots of practice travelling to other cities with mum and dad : )). Found our hostel, down a little side street but a lovely place, sadly having to leave tonight to head to the next one. Tokyo itself is very business orientated, not much backpacking goes on here by the looks of it. Most people who are in this hostel are working or its a quickstop over for them before flying home. However we've decided to take a look around so been to see the Imperial palace gardens and to ueno zoo where the giant pandas are so very cute (Can i have a panda?) But for the reason of it being like a mini London, all business not alot of pleasure we are hoping to head to Singapore sooner than expected, if we can get the flights arranged etc. Plus the weather is just like home, rainy and grey..I need sunshine!! So I'll leave you for now chaps and chappesses and will write again in the next week or so, hopefully when in Singapore! Love to all, Steph xXx
