G'day one and all.

Here I find myself in the not so sunny Sydney. We arrived 10 days ago where we burst out of the airport into rays of sunshine...actually thats a lie, it was 7a.m thus meaning it was rather cold, but at least the sun was shining! The past 3 days have been like living in England again, its been grey, very wet and pretty miserable, plus the weather forecast predicts it to be the same for the next week. Personally ive gone into denial over this and have assured my self that perfect beach weather will resume shortly after thsi little upset! Well we've had a hectic few days, we headed to Bondi Beach on the one beach weather day and surfed the surf and lay on the sand. Ahhh memories already...I headed into the sea boogie board in tow and threw myself round in the 12 foot waves like a lunatic, Gemma followed and consequently nearly drowned so left the freezing sea muttering something along the lines of, no its definatly not a sea for swimming in. Bless. Also been up to a Ranch in Ornage for a couple of days where we managed to Kangaroo spot and also get the feel of living in a ranch in the middle of nowehere! The past few days we have been mingling around this shoppiong centre where tinternet is accessable, theres good food, good shops and also the flicks, so have been able to go and see Little Miss Sunshine (Just to remember what the sun looks like) and also the Departed last night. This was a film where I purely maanged to drool at Mr leonardo Dicaprio and not follow the story to well! Tonight off to see another flick called wordplay. Have managed to see most of Sydney by night that is why we have resorted to the cinema several times! Moving form the cushty apartment we find ourselves in at the moment and heading to a hostel in a place just outside sydney called Glebe. However sad i am to be leaving The apartment (very swish as it is) Im also really looking forward to heading back to a hostel as me and Gemma have consequently run out of things to say to each other over the last 10 tens as we have met no other backpackers, it is actually quite hard to when youre not in a hostel and the rain keeps everyone indoor! Anyways heres to some sunny beach weather!
