Saturday was my first day in Bangkok. SHORT VERSION: I had a productive, interesting, and enjoyable first day. I jogged in Lumphini Park across the street from my hotel along with lots of locals. I arrived in Bangkok tonight after a full day traveling from Bali through Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (no time to see the city though, just a quick layover. Very clean and large and modern airport is about all I know about Kuala Lumpur. That and Malaysian Airlines does a very nice video about KL as you are about to land to give you some info.
