stefanie hmmm... you're going to have to request a full refund then because I don't think I'll be able to upload new picture until Monday. Its such a pain to get a CD made and then upload pictures from the CD that I only do it when a card is full which won't happen again til then.. so a few more days. I'll be more descriptive in my journal entries til then =)

stefanie Lol. I think I'll still take the hike to base camp, the cold showers, and the squat toilets before I can handle a 100 ile run in 24 hours. And no 24 hour fitness here, just running along the beach/road/park/etc. The strange looks from the locals keep you running fast =) Its been a great experience but I am looking forward to coming home very much. There is so much I miss!

stefanie Yes, my timing with Thailand was great. I'm not sure anything will happen in Tibet soon (fortunately or unfortunately) but Nepal has great potential with their political situation ... we'll have to stay tuned in October =)

stefanie Sex Tourism is used to refer to the tourists who bring prostitutes back to their hotel rooms or to the prostitutes trying to sell themselves to the tourists. The Atlanta Hotel doesn't allow either and are very strict on keeping this type of activity (or other illegal activity like drugs) out of the hotel. And they were booked (for everyone, thank you) but I had decided not to stay there anyway because they don't all have air conditioning and they don't have internet connection and the hotel staff doesn't really speak english. But on another type of trip it could be the perfect place to stay (and maybe less internet would be good =) )
