South-Africa's Garden Route....
What an amazing trip I have had the last week is not to comprehend. I have visited the most Southern tip of the continent Africa which is called Cape Algulhas, I have surfed with dolphins, I have seen whales, I have seen almost everything that's worth a memory of a lifetime.
During the week I travelled with Stan (my roommate) and Ros (my neighbor) and the parents of Ros. The good thing was though that we arrived at the most beautiful hostels in Africa for the cheapest prices. Again, I have gained the most interesting experiences during this short week.
Stan and I got refused for a club because Stan is black... Though, on the other hand we have seen the most beautiful sunset, seen the most interesting sceneries and Stan conquered his big fear he had for the ocean after I pushed him a little.
What we have also seen is a really great amount of poverty spread throughout the country. From little children pie'in on the streets in the middle of the townships to Germans who started fotografing the most awful scenes in townships as some kind of tourist attractions which I will not share with you.
Although I have been away now for a little more than one month I can appreciate my home in Holland a lot more than when I first left. I think we can all be grateful for what we have in the majority of the Western countries because poverty in Holland is nothing compared to poverty in the continent of Africa.
I'll leave another postcard soon cause in 3 weeks from now I will be heading to Ozzy....!!!
