Have to be up at 5.45 for last day of diving course- got to the fisrt diving site and start to descend - my ears had been quite painful yday and when i went to equalise my eardrums felt like they were going to burst - so painful and we had only gone down a few metres and were supposed to be going to 18m. Had to go back up the surface and couldnt do the last 2 dives - really gutted, had to sit on the boat and wait for the others to finish- the driver on the boat gave me a pill which was supposed to help my ears but not sure what it was, knocked me out, probably a good thing! went back to coral grand and did the final exam - am now a qualified open water scuba diver! although i didnt do the last 2 dives I can do them at anyother dive centre so will do them on one of the other islands. dont think itll be a big deal. All knackered after the early start and so spend afternoon lying on the beach, then watch sunset. Go for dinner at pizza place then watch another fire show on the beach, get some sunglasses then left them in the bar, what an idiot. Quite early night as boat to Koh Phangan leaves early, really loved Koh Tao!
