Hi Thomas here. Arrived safely in Madrid and struggled through the heat and bussel of the metro to end up at our very nice hostel. A porto resident is occupying the other bed in our 4 bed room and seems nice enough.

Went on a free tour of the city seeing all the main tourist sights as well as some questionable arcitecture (appologies for the spelling but we're mathematicians god damn it!). About to head out for dinner and force Steve to drink some Sangria continuing our quest to convert him from a fussy eater.
