Hello and good morning from Belgrade, this is Thomas. So carring on from the last time we posted. We met a guy called Jo from Reading and he pursuaded us to take him back to the Island we went to the day beore. but this time with a twist we decided to go swimming. Itll be fine we thought its the Med sea so i should be fairly warm. Well we were pretty wrong Anna didnt even come in! But the water was so clear you could see the fish swimming around your feet. Lovely place.
We spend the majority of the day on Brac and then heading back for showers and to catch our overnight train up to Belgrade. We had all settled in to our sleeping positions by 1 (the train left at 10.30 so it took a while to get comfy). Then suddenly the door was yancked open and the light unceremoniously switched on by the ticket man who begun shoutiung at us to make room for 3 new arrivals one which had a broken leg so took up basically two seats. None of us were in the slightest bit amused and Steve had to put up with the broken leg man sleeping on him. Sleep found us eventually at 4 or 5 until 6.30 when we woke up at Zagreb station freezing cold.
We must have looked a right sight after we got of the train all rumaging through our bags and throwing on layer after layer. The train to Belgrade went off with out too much of a hitch and we arrived in a very nice cheap hostel (it has a power shower with massage capabilities, simply amazing). We went off to bed at a very unrespectful 9.30 and have all just about caught up on sleep. Well thats all for now we're off to look around belgrade (Its even cheaper here than Croatia). Bye from all of us.

Leonico While I found the pockets awawkrd, I still enjoyed being able to store my ipod, headphones, id/money, etc. in one place. During my flight I only had to grab one thing from my carry on and had everything I needed. Also easy to just zip up without have put everything back into it's place when other passengers need to get up. Very glad I purchased this for my last trip.
Linda I must protest aaingst the note in the description saying As with many Eastern European countries, be aware of rip-offs. I find this construction offensive, prejudiced and unfair. Whereas there is a possibility of being ripped off by taxi-drivers in Belgrade, I should not think it an Eastern European idiosyncrasy, as this happens elsewhere, including many Western European countries and the US, and sometimes with greater intensity than in Serbia or many other Eastern European countries (e.g., Montenegro). I hope you will take my comment into consideration and correct what seems to be, hopefully not intentionally, a stereotypical account of Eastern Europe. Thank you.
