My Camino
Before coming to the Camino, I was so glib about crossing the Pyrenees; it was quite another story. Started out bright and cool and very quickly we were walking into 80 km/ hour winds. I was never sure when we reached the top, there was no shelter or source of water. We brought a sandwich from the hostel, thank goodness. The climbing and descending was equivalent to 291 flights of stairs!
The day ended in Spain, border invisible, in an albergue that is new, well designed and can accommodate 400 people. Again 4 beds to a cluster. It is well run by Dutch volunteers.

David Now that they have been found, where are they going the two lost packs and your hiking poles?
