If you can see it in the picture, the moon is high in the sky over the cathedral; it's nearly sunrise at Los Arcos at 7:30 am and I'm finding that early starts are good.
If our albergue offers breakfast we've been having their usual offering of toast and coffee but are tiring of that and now search for a cafe and have cafe con leche and pain chocolat. Can try to justify this decadence by walking many Kms.
Today we started to walk at 6:30 from Najera, used our headlamps, and thankfully there was good paved road; we were happy to cover 21 km and arrive at Santo Domingo de la Calzada by 1 pm. We had lots of time for sangria in the plaza, shopping for supplies, laundry and dinner.
Our Camino has changed a lot because April has gone home. Candace and I are motoring along and today we walked with a doctor from Iceland and a priest from England who voted against Brexit and whose great grandfather fought at Vimy Ridge with the Princess Pats. I even met a couple who walked on the Bruce Trail with us a few weeks ago.
My apologies for so few posts; wifi is unreliable and the last one that I wrote and saved as a draft disappeared into the ether! Will improve, as is my strength. We've walked over 200 Kms to date!

Linda Dawn Happy to hear from you. Sounds wonderful. Café con leche is one of my favourite things.
