My Camino
Yesterday, we were delayed leaving Burgos and ended up walking very late in the afternoon. We are getting into the flat part of the Camino and although it's easier walking, it's also less interesting; whole vistas of fields of stubble, hay bales stacked as high as 3 storey houses and sunflowers waiting to be harvested.
Lots of time to let the mind travel and so I got wondering why there was a field intentionally and entirely covered with rocks that looked like crushed limestone.
So my one theory is that it's a soil amendment measure and another theory is that two brothers are feuding and one disabled the other's field. Any other ideas?

Linda Dawn You could always take the bus and skip to the middle of the trip, enjoying some of the boring part and maybe a treat at a spa... xo
David Keep it up, Sue!
Victoria Weird kind of mulch? Sounds like you are having a deeply satisfying adventure. See you when you're back.
Verna Lynne Feuding brothers? Were you thinking of anyone from PEI?
