Our trip to Varanasi drew to a close and we all got into the Ganpati guest house 4WD and headed to the airport. On the side of the road we saw a man that I at least thought was dead. He was covered in flies and wasn't moving much, but as it turns out he was just smelly (lol). The airport was a surprise, it loomed out of the middle distance, a giant monolithic structure of glass and granite, surrounded by the dusty farms and slums of rural India. Security was tight and the flight was uneventful. We arrived in Delhi sometime in the night to a sight for a bus booked by "Mr. Borringpon" (hilarity). We pulled out and went to our organized accommodation, the RC palace (lovingly dubbed "the arsey palace by the crew), as the nickname suggest, it was rather dodgy.
