Working at Earth Saviours was an absolute treat! The teachers were extremely welcoming to us.
My partners and I only went from strength to strength in our lesson plans. Teaching them "I'm a little teapot" "head-shoulders-knees-and-toes" and their personal favorite "the hokey-pokey".
It wasn't all fun and games though! We did teach English lessons, using pictures on the whiteboard as our best tool of communication!
When it came to maths, the kids had memorized the sums and their answers so that 3+4 Just WAS 7 so we had to teach them the process of how they got 7, so our fingers came in handy there!
We did so much more with the kids, from drawing pictures of their families, to finger-painting. This experience has been nothing short of amazing! And I have enjoyed every moment! The friends I've made and the things I've seen will stay in my mind forever, and it's safe to say that I am a better person for participating in this trip!
Anyway.... There are a few of the things that I have experienced at my work placement!
...So until I'm home...
Good bye from one of the thirteen little Indians.
